Seminar between SITC and Merchant Marine College of SMU
On July 6, 2021, 16 student representatives from merchant marine college of SMU visited SITC, led by Lu Sanping, director of the school affairs center, and counselor Wu Changyue. The seminar conducted in-depth exchanges on the issues of "daily operation of shipping companies" and "career development planning for maritime youth" concerned by students. Also present at the forum were Mr. Xue Mingyuan, President of SITC shipping group, and managers of the group.
At the seminar, President Xue and managers of the group introduced the general situation of SITC. Though the video link between the ship and shore, students can more intuitively understand the actual work and life of the ship. Based on their internship experience and their own development goals, the student representatives spoke and asked questions enthusiastically.
At last, President Xue concluded his speech with a hearty wish that the students will take a good first step in life, learning and adapting to the society, and creating a wonderful future!
