SITC participates in the first "international carbon neutral 30 forum" in 2021
The first "international carbon neutralization 30 person forum" sponsored and hosted by CICEC was successfully held in Beijing on July 21, 2021. Mr. Lai Zhiyong, executive director of SITC and President of logistics group, was invited to attend the forum. The forum invited representatives of several ambassadors to China, transnational enterprises, state-owned enterprises, private enterprises and pioneer enterprises in science and technology to carry out in-depth discussion and exchange around the path, technology and mechanism to achieve "carbon neutralization", so as to promote the formation of green and low-carbon cultural consensus among all parties and provide effective wisdom results for the construction of human ecological civilization.
General Secretary Xi Jinping solemnly declared to the world at the 2020 UN General Assembly that China strives to achieve the peak of carbon dioxide emissions before 2030 and to achieve carbon neutralization by 2060. So far, more than 120 countries and regions around the world have made commitments to achieve "carbon neutrality". SITC, as an enterprise with long-term social responsibility, actively responded to the call of the state to practice low-carbon, and won the title of "carbon neutral practice pioneer". SITC will also take this opportunity to continue to spread the concepts of sustainable development, scientific development and green development, and jointly contribute to the construction of human ecological civilization.
