Great News from Africa: SITC Logistic SA has officially launched Major Client Direct Load Transport Services
6th September of 2021 is a monumental day for SITC in Africa. The first SITC's Customer Direct Load Transport vehicle in Africa has departed from the SITC Johannesburg Logistics Center at 07h00, headed to the DC warehouse of Massmart South Africa which is the largest retail group in Africa. The cooperation with Massmart also indicated that SITC's transportation service has become very competitive in Africa. SITC is able to provide any customer with comprehensive bulk transportation services directly to DC and RDC warehouses, factories or retail stores. The service involves delivery bookings, vehicle load planning, vehicle scheduling and dispatching, FTL transportation, and proof of delivery returns. All transportation procedures are controlled by SITC's Smart Logistics Management Platform completely which also provided visibility of the order covering transportation processes. The Customer Direct Bulk Order by SITC Transport Service will help local clients to reduce their intermediate transport procedures, reduce the transportation costs, increase inventory turnover, and speed up the collection of cash flow. At the moment, SITC South Africa can provide 4,000+ truck load maximum monthly capacity to their clients, other than South Africa's domestic transportation and it also includes 7 neighboring countries’ cross-border transportation services, such as Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, Swaziland and Lesotho.
