SITC Ship Management Participated in the "Sunshine Security Inspection" Symposium of Pudong Maritime Safety Administration and the "Four Best" Award Ceremony
On the afternoon of January 25, 2022, the "Sunshine Security Inspection" Symposium and the "Four Best" Award Ceremony of Pudong Maritime Safety Administration were held in the conference room on the third floor of Pudong Maritime Safety Administration. The leaders of Pudong Maritime Safety Administration attended the meeting and delivered speeches, affirming the active participation of shipping companies in the selection of the "Four Best". At the meeting, shipping companies exchanged experience in ship management and the difficulties and challenges faced by ship management during the epidemic. The focus of shipping companies is on crew shortages, crew wages, difficulty in crew changes, crew mental health, and inability to carry out boarding inspections.
The selection committee organized experts based on online voting and finally selected 4 best ship management companies, 5 best ships, 10 best crew members and 5 best shore-based management personnel. SITC Ship Management won the Best Ship Management Company Award, "SITC Hainan" won the Best Ship Award, and three crew members (Ge Tingying, Wang Jian and Xing Xiaoyuan) won the Best Crew Award.
