On March 20, 2023, the unveiling ceremony of SITC International Experimental Building of Shandong Jiaotong University was held at the Weihai Campus of Shandong Jiaotong University. Jiang Huaping, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shandong Jiaotong University, Yan Dong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Weihai Campus, Chen Haiyong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Shipping College, Liu Jiajun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the International Business School, Yang Xianxiang, Vice Chairman and CEO of the Board of Directors of SITC International, and representatives of teachers and students from the Shipping College of Shandong Jiaotong University and the International Business School jointly attended the opening ceremony.
The construction of SITC International Experimental Building aims to create an experimental and innovative platform for inheriting marine culture with Chinese characteristics, achieve the same frequency resonance between the company's development and school construction, form a good pattern of multi-level school-enterprise cooperation, jointly cultivate and guide shipping professionals, further enhance the ability of scientific research to serve economic and social development, promote the sustainable development of marine science and technology, and better serve the strategy of national maritime power and shipping power.
