THE SIXTH MINI MBA SHIPPING orIENTATION TRAINING CLASS OF SHANGHAI MARITIME UNIVERSITY WAS SUCCESSFULLY HELD
On October 15, 2023, the opening ceremony of the sixth Mini MBA shipping oriented training course at Shanghai Maritime University was successfully held at the SITC Academic Exchange Center. Lu Jing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shanghai Maritime University, Yan Dalong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Chairman of the School Foundation, Yang Xianxiang, Vice Chairman and CEO of the SITC Board of Directors, some leaders of both parties, and 39 students from Shanghai Maritime University attended the class opening ceremony.
At the class opening ceremony, Principal Lu Jing and CEO Yang Xianxiang delivered speeches respectively. President Lu Jing stated that shipping is the foundation of Maritime University. The cooperation between the two sides not only provides students with face-to-face opportunities with shipping companies, but also continuously explores teaching content and forms that complement each other's advantages through years of cooperation; CEO Yang Xianxiang expressed SITC's continuous commitment to taking on corporate social responsibility and cultivating future leaders for the shipping industry, and confirmed its determination to continue to devote itself to cultivating high-quality shipping talents and long-term cooperation with the school. I hope that under the collaborative education between schools and enterprises, more outstanding shipping talents can join the shipping industry, play a key role in promoting the prosperity of China's shipping industry, and lead the future.
