The successful maiden voyage ceremony of SITC new route at Weifang Port
On March 14, 2024, the maiden voyage ceremony of SITC new route at Weifang Port was successfully held. Mr. Liu Yun, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee of Weifang City, Shandong Province, Mr. Gao Feng, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress of Weifang, Shandong Province, Mr. Huo Gaoyuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Port Group, Mr. Li Xiangsheng, President of SITC Line，Mr. Wei Renguo, General Manager of SITC Line Qingdao and other leaders, representatives from relevant authorities and partners attended the event and witnessed the maiden voyage of the new route.
Weifang Port is located on the south coast of Laizhou Bay in the Bohai Sea. It has a superior location. The opening of SITC new route at Weifang Port will provide more efficient, convenient and high-quality services to customers in the hinterland around Weifang. The new route is another new achievement of the strategic cooperation between Shandong Port Group and SITC. It will also further optimize SITC's advantageous route configuration in Shandong and improve the service network layout.
