Spring Colors in the Garden, Our Foundation is Evergreen—We Go Together for a Healthy Planet--SITC Dalian Tree Planting Activity Briefing in 2024
With the gentle breeze of March and the chirping of birds, On 30th March 2024, SITC Dalian staff gathered at Huayun Peony Garden in Lushun, Dalian, to participate in a tree-planting activity themed " Spring Colors in the Garden, Our Foundation is Evergreen—We Go Together for a Healthy Planet”.
Before the activity started, colleagues got a better understanding of tree planting skills and significance through the informative explanation of the garden staff. Tree-planting activities were divided into 6 groups by drawing lots. Colleagues were shovelling, holding trees and cultivating soil, stamping and pressing, carrying water and watering, tacitly cooperating, creating a busy scene. Cheerfulness turned into energy, sweat into fruitful results, through everyone's joint efforts, red maples and begonias stand upright, adding vibrant colours to Dalian's early spring.
As trees grow into a forest with the participation of many, The tree-planting activity not only brings us closer to nature, cultivates our sentiments, enhances teamwork and cohesion, and builds up the everlasting prosperity of SITC. At the same time, it is also a vivid practice for SITC people to integrate the concept of green and sustainable development into action.
