The successful SITC maiden voyage ceremony at Batam Port
On March 31, 2024, SITC Batam Port's maiden voyage ceremony was successfully held. Batam Mayor Muhammad Rudi, Batam Port Director Arham S Torik, Utama PT PPA Director Muhammad TeguhWirahadikusumah, Mr. Cheng Jianbing, Deputy General manager of SITC Line, Mr. Yu Hua, general manager of SITC Indonesia Depot and other relevant leaders attended the event.
The opening of the SITC direct voyage service has greatly reduced the logistics cost of import and export goods in Batam and improved transportation efficiency. At the same time, it will inject new impetus into the economic development of Batam Special Zone.
