“Work together to protect the blue ocean and create a better future”-- SITC E-commerce 2024 Environmental Protection Theme Activity Briefing
On May 2024, SITC E-commerce launched the "Clean Beach" environmental protection theme activity at the picturesque Yangkou Beach. All the staff worked together to carefully clean the surface of the beach and hidden cigarette butts, paper towels and plastic products. Through our publicity and drive, the surrounding citizens and tourists took the initiative to take the garbage away from the designated area, and many enthusiastic members of the public actively participated in the activity.
Through the joint efforts of everyone, the beach is clean and tidy again. The waste is sorted and weighed by employees, and the data is provided to environmental agencies for recording, analyzing and monitoring environmental changes. In this "beach cleaning" activity, SITC staff not only practice environmental protection, but also actively advocate the public to start from themselves and jointly shoulder the social responsibility of protecting the ecological environment.
