2024 First New Staff Training Briefing
From 12th to 16th October 2024, the 2024 first new employee training of SITC was held in Shanghai Zhangjiang Office. The trainees of this training consisted of 48 new employees from 35 branches. Fourteen managers, including Yang Xianxiang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SITC, Xue Mingyuan, CEO of SITC, Lai Zhiyong, President of SITC Logistics, and Li Xiangsheng, President of SITC Container Transportation, acted as inner trainers to give introductions to the company's strategy, management system, work experience, and communicate with the trainees.
The training programme was conducted in five dimensions, covering 17 courses. Chairman Yang Xianxiang analysed the core competitiveness of the company from multiple angles and in an all-round way and emphasized the importance of talents. CEO Xue Mingyuan analysed and matched the company's strategy from the perspective of new employees. Combining their own work experience and professional knowledge, the lecturers elaborated on the interaction and differences between the contents of different business segments, and deepened the participants' understanding and sense of participation by combining classroom teaching with open questions and answers. The terminal boarding visit and on-site operation explanation session enabled the trainees to have a more intuitive understanding of the contents of ship loading and unloading, ship structure and terminal workflow.
The implementation of this training enabled the trainees to have a comprehensive understanding of the company's overall rules and regulations and business segments. In the future, the trainees will apply what they have learnt to the actual work, and grow with SITC through continuous learning and self-improvement!
