SITC Seafarers Participate in the "Zhenchao Cup" Navigation Skills Competition of Qingdao
To celebrate the 19th China Navigation Day, promote the spirit of navigation in the new era, and enhance the professional skills of seafarers, the 2025 "Zhenchao Cup" Seafarer Skills Competition—jointly organized by the Qingdao Municipal Trade Union, Qingdao Maritime Safety Administration, and the Municipal Transport Bureau—was grandly held in Qingdao from July 10th to 12th. SITC Crew selected elite crew members to form a team, competing alongside maritime professionals from across the industry to showcase their expertise in intense skill challenges.
This competition focused on the core practical abilities of crew members and set up five key competition events: "Ship Maneuvering and Collision Avoidance, Paralyzed Ship Starting, Survival on Water, Mooring, and Maintenance and Operation of Power Equipment". With solid professional skills and tacit teamwork, SITC seafarers responded calmly and operated precisely in the simulated complex sea conditions and emergency scenarios, fully demonstrating the exquisite business skills and excellent professional qualities of the front-line crew of SITC Shipping.
Competing for the "Zhenchao Cup" not only comprehensively assessed the individual capabilities of SITC seafarers but also reflected SITC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening talent development and safeguarding maritime operations. With masterful techniques and unwavering determination, SITC’s participants embodied the professionalism of modern navigators on the field, further highlighting SITC’s brand commitment to excellence, safety, and efficiency.
