Successful Launch of Qinzhou–Jakarta to Semarang Sea-Rail Intermodal Transport
On August 28, 2025, a train fully loaded with SITC containers departed Jakarta and arrived safely at Semarang Freight Terminal the next day. All cargo was delivered to the factory within three days, and the empty containers were returned, demonstrating efficient and stable transportation capabilities.
This trial run of the Qinzhou-Jakarta-Semarang sea-rail transport not only significantly improved transportation timeliness and service reliability, but also successfully verified the feasibility of sea-rail transport within Indonesia's logistics system. As a driving force, SITC Logistics Indonesia will seize this opportunity to continuously optimize processes, expand models, and create sustainable logistics products.
