Opening Ceremony of the Eighth SITC Mini-MBA Shipping orientation Training Class of Shanghai Maritime University and Donation Ceremony for University-Enterprise Cooperation Successfully Held
On October 31, 2025, the Opening Ceremony of the eighth SITC Mini-MBA Shipping orientation Courses and the Donation Ceremony of University-Enterprise Cooperation were successfully held at the SITC Academic Exchange Centre of Shanghai Maritime University. The President of Shanghai Maritime University, Mr Chu Beiping, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee,Cao Rongrui, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SITC, Mr Yang Xianxiang, the Chief Executive Officer of SITC, Mr Xue Mingyuan and other leaders of both parties, as well as nearly 23 students of the orientation Training Class, participated in the opening ceremony and the Donation Ceremony.
At the ceremony, President Chu Beiping and Chairman Yang Xianxiang delivered speeches respectively. The event marked a further deepening of the strategic partnership between the two parties, built upon their long-standing and fruitful collaboration. Moving forward, both sides will focus on the development of green and intelligent shipping. By jointly establishing an industry-academia-research innovation platform, will accelerate the cultivation of high-caliber, multidisciplinary shipping professionals in fields such as green vessels and intelligent navigation, providing robust new support for the sustainable development of the shipping industry.
