SITC sponsors the “Smart Logistics Datathon 2025” of the Chinese University of Hong Kong
From Oct 17th to 19th, the “Smart Logistics Datathon 2025”(“Datathon”), organized by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, was successfully held at the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy.
The event was held by the Asian Institute of Supply Chains & Logistics (AISCL), aiming to inspire participants to develop innovative insights on operations, services, or business models through big data analytics. The Datathon is financially supported by the HKSAR Government’s newly launched Logistics Promotion Funding Scheme under the Maritime and Aviation Training Fund.Participants were given 35 hours of uninterrupted time to understand and deeply analyze the transportation and logistics related datasets provided, and to participate in the processing of complex data behind them. Participants bring innovative thinking to the industry through big data analysis and promote research and development of smart logistics innovation solutions. Students also have the opportunity to visit large logistics facilities in Hong Kong and have industry representatives share their practical experience to inspire innovative thinking.
SITC donated for this event, further exploring academic exchanges between schools and enterprises, and promoting the creative upgrade of digitalization and intelligence of port and shipping logistics. The company will adhere to promoting innovation and is committed to promoting scientific and technological progress and sustainable development.
