Shanghai Ship Management and Ningbo Maritime Safety Administration Conduct Joint Safety Inspections
On February 9th, Shanghai Ship Management and Ningbo Daxie Maritime Safety Deparment conducted an on-site joint safety supervision and inspection of our company's M/V "SITC NINGBO". The purpose of this inspection is to implement the latest work requirements of the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport, strengthen ship safety supervision, and ensure the safety of shipping.
The inspection team conducted a detailed verification of key aspects such as the navigation plan and dangerous goods loading of the M/V "SITC NINGBO". After the boarding inspection, both parties held an in-depth discussion. Focusing on three work guidelines, namely, shore-based duty of shipping enterprises, voyage safety risk assessment, and "dual checks" for high-risk operations on shore-based ships, the maritime leaders elaborated on the core content and significance of the guidelines, listened to the report on the self-inspection and rectification of our company's managed ships, answered relevant questions about the company's implementation of principal responsibility, and shared relevant experience and guidance suggestions from a regulatory perspective.
This joint on-site inspection and discussion exchange have deepened the safety management collaboration with maritime regulatory agencies and enhanced the company's ability to control ship risks. It has played a significant role in promoting our company to fulfill its primary responsibility for safety, as well as improving and optimizing our safety management systems and regulations.
