2026 SITC University Student Crew Induction Training
From April 16 to 17, 2026, the "SITC University Student Crew Induction Training" was held in Qingdao, Shandong. More than 70 university student crew members from renowned maritime colleges such as Dalian Maritime University, Shanghai Maritime University, and Shandong JiaoTong University participated in this training.
The leaders of SITC Shipping, Ship Management Company and Crew Company shared SITC's growth history, future development strategy, company advantages and crew career planning, encouraging the university student crew members to adhere to the original aspiration of seafaring and integrate their personal ideals into the seafaring mission. The business supervisors and instructors, based on case studies, explained topics such as safety production, duty norms, maritime regulations, precautions for the first voyage, requirements for certificates and internships, crew deployment procedures, labor contracts, and social security. The new crew members expressed that these experiences were like a seafaring compass, giving them great confidence for their first voyage.
SITC used practical training to light up the career compass for the new crew members, and with warm care, built the sense of belonging of the "maritime family". The new generation of seafarers are holding their original aspirations and confidence, and are writing their own paths in the vast and deep blue.
