SITC Seafarers Skills Enhancement Training Held Successfully
To further strengthen the foundation of shipboard management and fully leverage the critical role of bosun and motorman as the "squad leaders" of the vessel, from May 18 to 23, 2026, SITC Shipping successfully organized a skill enhancement training for seafarers at Shandong Transportation Vocational College.
Adhering to the principles of "practice-oriented training based on actual needs," the program developed a tailored curriculum system that integrates the latest industry standards, real-world operational requirements, and key pain points in job performance. Through a multi-dimensional teaching model combining "theoretical instruction, live demonstrations, and hands-on practice," the training helped participants acquire and master essential job-related knowledge and skills in a comprehensive and in-depth manner. Throughout the training, the participants demonstrated strong learning enthusiasm and a rigorous and pragmatic work ethic. They noted that the training content was highly relevant to their daily work and addressed their specific skill gaps. They expressed their commitment to applying the knowledge and skills learned to their shipboard duties, performing with greater competence and a more meticulous approach.
