SITC Included in S&P Sustainability Yearbook, Ranking Among Global Industry Leaders
On May 21, SITC attended the official launch ceremony of S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2026 and the accompanying Sustainable Development Forum, where it received recognition.
SITC has continuously deepened its optimization of ESG governance and strengthened its performance, successfully earning a place in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026. It was honored with the distinctions of "Top 5% Global", "Top 1% China", and "Industry Mover". In the S&P CSA, SITC ranked among the top performers in the global Transportation and Transportation Infrastructure industry, securing the No. 1 position in Greater China and the top three globally. As a result, it was also included in the Dow Jones DJBIC World Index Member and DJBIC Emerging Markets Index Member. These achievements fully recognize the company's long‑standing efforts in the field of sustainable development.
The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) is one of the world's most influential corporate sustainability evaluations. Its results are widely used by global investors, companies, and stakeholders as a reference for decision‑making. The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is an authoritative publication in the global sustainability field, featuring companies with outstanding performance in the S&P CSA and commending their industry leadership and contributions to advancing sustainable development. The selection results are directly linked to ESG‑related indices within the S&P Dow Jones Indices, influencing investment decisions that manage over USD 58 trillion in assets worldwide.
The selection criteria for the Yearbook are stringent: out of more than 9,200 companies globally, only 848 were included (less than 10%). SITC simultaneously crossed both the "Top 5% Global" and "Top 1% China" thresholds—an achievement reached by only seven companies in Greater China, underscoring its rarity. This inclusion marks SITC's ESG management and sustainability performance as meeting world‑class standards. The company not only excelled in the S&P CSA but also maintains high ratings from multiple authoritative institutions, including MSCI ESG A, CDP Supply Chain Management A, Water Security A‑, Climate Change B (with A being the highest), Huazheng ESG AA, and WIND ESG AA, keeping its ESG performance and ratings at a globally leading level.
We believe that only by working together can we create a better sustainable future. SITC’s rise in the S&P CSA ranking is the result of the collective efforts of all its members and represents a major milestone on our sustainable development journey. Looking ahead, we will continue to uphold the concept of sustainable development, drive further breakthroughs in ESG, and create greater value for our employees, investors, customers, and society.
