2026 New Employee Training & Shanghai Regional Employee Meeting Briefing
From 14 to 17 October 2026, the 2026 New Employee Training Programme was held in Zhangjiang, Shanghai, with 47 new employees from 27 branches taking part in this centralised training session. Sixteen executives, including SITC Chairman Yang Xianxiang and CEO Xue Mingyuan, served as internal trainers. They delivered lectures on corporate strategy, management systems and practical experience, whilst engaging in interactive discussions with the trainees.
The training comprised five major modules, totalling 17 courses. During the training, Chairman Yang Xianxiang listened to the new employees’ views, reflected on SITC’s development journey, analyzed the key factors behind the company’s success, and empowered the new recruits to build their capabilities. CEO Xue Mingyuan focused closely on practical business operations, providing an in-depth interpretation of the company’s DNA and drawing on his own professional experience to guide the new employees in gaining a thorough understanding of the company’s strategy. The other trainers, drawing on their extensive work experience and professional expertise, explained the core content of each business segment, delivering their sessions through a combination of classroom lectures and open question-and-answer sessions; During the interactive Q&A sessions, lecturers addressed participants’ queries on the spot, helping them to deepen their understanding and fully assimilate the course content. The training also included dock boarding tour, accompanied by on-site commentary. Through this immersive, real-world learning experience, participants gained a deeper understanding of vessel stowage and loading/unloading procedures, ship structure and equipment, and terminal operational processes, thereby enhancing their comprehension of business scenarios.
Meanwhile, SITC 2026 Shanghai Regional Employee Meeting was successfully held on 17 October at the Zhangjiang office. Yang Xianxiang, Chairman of the Board of SITC, Xue Mingyuan, CEO of SITC, Zhang Haiyu, President Assistant of SITC Shipping, Guo Ruqian, President Assistant of SITC Logistics and relevant managers, along with 19 staff members from the Shanghai region, attended the meeting. At the meeting, Chairman Yang Xianxiang emphasized that leaders of all subsidiaries must attach great importance to the implementation and application of AI. Participating employees spoke actively. Based on observations and reflections from daily work, they put forward a number of reasonable suggestions concerning AI application, efficiency improvement and system process optimization.
New employee training and employee meeting serve as vital platforms for the company’s talent development and two-way communication. Training helps new recruits familiarize themselves with the company’s system and business, embrace the corporate culture, translate what they have learnt into practical results, and work alongside the company to create new value; discussion sessions provide a platform for communication, effectively fostering the alignment of staff development with the company’s growth.
