Launching of Qinghai International Intermodal train with Railway Containers for SITC overseas Business via West-Bound Passage
On March 10, 2020, the Qinghai International Intermodal train with railway containers carried by SITC successfully sailed from Chongqing railway central station. The train departed from Qinghai Province on the morning of March 5 and finally will be sailed to Thailand by SITC.
This is the first launch of Qinghai international intermodal train this year. It is also a major achievement for contributing to the construction of the West-Bound Passage under the cooperation among CCI Eurasia Land Bridge Logistics Development co., ltd、China Railway Container Express Line and SITC, which means the world’s largest circular economy has realized a normalized operation of the international Intermodal train for China’s West-Bound Passage.
The successful launch of Qinghai international intermodal train will provide high-efficiency and high-quality logistics services to foreign trade customers in northwest China. Which means SITC has taken another solid step on inland intermodal services after the first launch of the railway containers overseas business in September last year.
