Mr.Lu Jing,the President of Shanghai Maritime University Visited SITC
On Jun 28th, 2020, President Lu Jing of Shanghai Maritime University and his party visited Shanghai Zhangjiang office building of SITC. CEO Yang Xianxiang of SITC and relevant leaders of SITC Shipping Group attended the meeting.
CEO Yang Xianxiang welcomed President Lu and his party, and introduced the overall situation of the company and the current situation of the industry. He said that talents are the foundation of the industry, and universities are the cradle of talents. Shanghai Maritime University is expected to train more professional and compound shipping talents for the industry.
President Lu Jing thanks SITC for long-term concern and support for the school. He said that the school running characteristics of Shanghai Maritime University are distinct. Whether the university can realize the construction goal of becoming a "high-level Maritime University with global influence" depends on whether it can meet the diversified talent demand of the industry. It is hoped that the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation and jointly contribute to the development of the shipping industry.
The two sides had in-depth exchanges on cooperation in personnel training and project research.
