Naming & Delivery Ceremony for M/V “SITC SHEKOU” Held Successfully
On November 11, 2020, the naming ceremony of M/V “SITC SHEKOU” was successfully held by SITC International Holdings Co., Ltd. (SITC International) and YANGZIJIANG Shipbuilding Group Ltd (YZJ Shipbuilding Group).
The couple of Mr. Yang Shaopeng, Chairman of SITC International Board, Chairman Mr. Ren Jun and Vice Chairman Ms.Jiang Ping of Rencent International, Mr. Ren Letian, Chairman of YANGZIJIANG Shipbuilding Group, Mr. Xiao Senyuan Vice President of SITC Shipping Group, Mr. Wang Gangyi, Chief Engineer of Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute, and Mr. Shi Weixiang, Director of NK China and Strategic Development Department attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Mr. Yang Shaopeng, Chairman of SITC International Board, delivered a speech on behalf of the shipowner and unveiled the model, and Mr. Ren Letian, Chairman of YZJ Shipbuilding Group, delivered a speech on behalf of the shipyard. Mr. Ren Jun christened the new vessel for “SITC SHEKOU”, and Ms. Jiang Ping, Godmother of the new vessel was invited to break the champagne, blessing her with safe sailing and full-loading all the time.

After Delivery, the new vessel will join SITC fleet soon, providing much better service to SITC customers.
