2024 First New Staff Training Briefing
From 26th to 30th October 2024, the second batch of new employee training in FY2024 was held in Zhangjiang, Shanghai. The training consisted of 48 new employees from 25 branches. Fourteen managers, including Yang Xianxiang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SITC , and Xue Mingyuan, CEO of SITC, acted as in-house trainers to give an introduction to the company's strategy, management system, work experience and communicate with the trainees.
The training covered five major areas and 16 topics for in-depth discussion. During the teaching of the course, Chairman Yang Xianxiang encouraged continuous learning and lifelong learning with his own experience, and emphasised the importance of talents to the company. CEO Xue Mingyuan analysed and benchmarked the company's strategy from the perspective of the frontline of new employees. The instructors explained the core business of each business segment in depth, combining their own work experience and professional knowledge. During the interactive session at the end of the course, the instructors answered questions and solved puzzles to enable the trainees to further absorb and understand what they had learnt. Shipboarding and terminal visits provided a more intuitive way of learning for the trainees, enabling them to have a deeper understanding of ship loading and unloading, ship structure and equipment, and terminal workflow.
The implementation of this training has enabled the trainees to have a comprehensive understanding of the company's overall regulations and business segments. We believe that in the future, they will be able to apply what they have learnt to their practical work, and go hand in hand with SITC through continuous learning and upgrading!
