Anti-Discrimination and Harassment Policy and Statement



SITC International is committed to creating a fair, equal, respectful and inclusive working environment, and we firmly oppose any form of discrimination and harassment. Our policies and practices are as follows:

 

1. A clear statement prohibiting discrimination and harassment

Discrimination is the act and result of treating people unequally by imposing unequal burdens or denying benefits, rather than treating everyone fairly on the basis of individual merit. We firmly oppose any form of discrimination, including but not limited to race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, etc. We prohibit harassment of any kind, including but not limited to sexual and non-sexual harassment. We encourage employees to respect and support each other and create a positive work atmosphere.

 

2. Zero tolerance policy for discrimination and harassment

We are committed to creating a fair and equal work environment and will not tolerate any discriminatory behavior. We will adopt a zero-tolerance attitude and severely condemn any form of discrimination and harassment. We will take any allegation seriously and deal with it confidentially and empathetically. If allegations are proven, we will take remedial measures, disciplinary action, dismissal or legal action to ensure that the rights of our employees and customers are effectively protected.

 

3.Related education

We provide education about workplace discrimination and harassment to all employees to help them understand what discrimination and harassment is, how to prevent and respond to these issues, and incorporate this into performance reviews and processes.

 

4. Process for reporting incidents

We have established a process for reporting incidents to encourage employees to report promptly when discrimination or harassment occurs, and have specified specific procedures, roles and rules for receiving complaints and providing redress to ensure that every complaint is properly handled and guaranteed against any retaliation. We will carefully investigate every reported incident and take appropriate corrective and disciplinary action.

 

5. Corrective Actions and Disciplinary Actions

In response to incidents of discrimination and harassment, SITC International will take corrective measures and disciplinary sanctions. Corrective action is the process of communicating with employees and taking proactive steps to improve unacceptable behavior. Disciplinary action is reprimand or corrective action taken against an employee for misconduct, rule violation, or poor performance. Depending on the severity of the case, disciplinary action can take different forms, including verbal warnings, written warnings, adverse performance reviews or evaluations, demotion or pay cuts, and dismissal.

 

6. Requirements for upstream and downstream partners

We require our upstream and downstream partners to also abide by our company's anti-discrimination and harassment policies and statements, and avoid any incidents of discrimination or harassment.

 

7. Public commitment

SITC International solemnly promises that we will strictly abide by anti-discrimination and harassment policies and provide a respectful and inclusive working environment for employees and customers. We will publicly declare this commitment and regularly review and update our anti-discrimination and harassment policies and statements. We believe that a working environment free of discrimination and harassment will help improve employee efficiency and productivity and promote the company's sustainable development. We will continue to work hard to create a fair, equal, respectful and inclusive working environment to ensure that every employee can work in a safe, healthy and harmonious workplace.
