SITC Shipping Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Successfully Pass the Chinese Flag DOC Formal Audit
From January 22 to 24, 2025, a three-person audit team from Shanghai Maritime Administration visited SITC Shipping Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. for a three-day initial audit of the China Flag Ship Safety Management Company System (DOC audit). The audit strictly followed the standards and requirements of the International Ship Safety Management and Pollution Prevention Code (ISM Code) and the People's Republic of China Ship Safety Operation and Pollution Prevention Management Code (NSM), and carried out a comprehensive and in-depth review of the company's system documents and shore-based management team.
In the audit process, the audit team praised and affirmed the excellent performance of the company's management personnel in the case of the first involvement in the management of Chinese flag ships. The company's management is also committed to continuous self-improvement, the courage to face up to the existing problems, and strive to achieve more excellent management efficiency.
So far, SITC Shipping Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has successfully obtained the DOC certification of China Hong Kong Flag, Panama flag and China flag. All colleagues of the company will take this as a new starting point and make unremitting efforts to continuously improve the scientific and efficient management system, actively respond to more severe challenges in the future, ensure the safe operation of ships and pollution prevention measures are effectively implemented, and contribute to the protection of Marine environment and safe shipping.
